MIIL is conducting a convergence research of medical image processing and technology that combine artificial intelligence (AI), augmented reality (AR) and autonomous robot (AR), which are the core technologies of the 4th industrial revolution. In detail, development of diagnostic technology using image processing technology of multi-energy CT and Optical coherence tomography (OCT), development of an image-guided surgery system using augmented reality technology convergence with 3D positional tracking system, development of an autonomous robot assisted image-guided surgery system, and development of medical image diagnosis assist system based on artificial intelligence (AI). Through these, we intend to develop innovative technologies leading the 4th industrial revolution in the medical field.
